What data do we collect?
Pinky Map is a reminders app that is triggered by arriving at physical locations such as shops, work, and home. We call these named locations Pinky Places. A Pinky Place for shops, for example, can have multiple different shops associated with it. Any reminders that you set for your shops Pinky Place will automatically be triggered when you visit any of the actual shops that you associated with the shops Pinky Place.
It also allows you to optionally share some of your Pinky Places with your friends. For example, several people living in the same house can share the Grocery Shops Pinky Place. Any reminders added to the shared Pinky Place are visible to everyone with whom it was shared. And anyone in the shared Pinky Place can remove items in the shared list, and this will automatically update the list for everyone.
Although Pinky Map monitors your location to determine whether to show you a reminder notification, it only uses that information locally on your mobile device. It is never transmitted to our servers and never shared with third parties.
All of the following data that we collect from you is stored on our servers in the European Union. All backups of the data that we collect from you is also stored on separate servers in the European Union.
Here is a fill list of the information that we collect, the reasons why we collect it, and where we use it.
